Tough to spend a first on a DB with character issues, played versus a lower level of competition, and is coming off a brutal ACL injury.

Im a fan of his but sheesh that's a huge gamble for anyone.

IIRC the reason he had to go the JUCO to Eastern Carolina route was due to him being a big headache in school. Grades / absences disqualified him from going D1.

Could be remembering wrong so don't kill me on it.

Also been a lot of time so i'm sure he's matured. But again a guy couldn't even manage to pass class to go D1? What happens when you give him millions of dollars?

Also im not agains taking him at 40 either. I believe his interviews will be really important to his draft stock. Ceiling is DRC.

Yeah I can only go by the media reports on him and I hadn’t seen any mention of any sort of character concerns.

Yeah I wouldn't say it's "serious" but it would definitely be a part of my evaluation process. Interviews are gonna be huge for him.

I'd much rather pick Amos if we are looking for a CB at 40 anyways. Don't think we are in a position to take big risks on players.
