The NFL National Media Talking Heads seem to be evenly split between the Saints and the Clowns for the matchup in Atlanta this Sunday. Below is a list of those I found so far. Feel free to add any others, including the locals.

Injuries are going to play a big part in this one. Can't this team ever stay healthy?

This is the type of game we need Taysom Hill to show up. Dude is usually money playing in ATL

Excerpts from a 9/27/24 article by Rod Walker of NOLA.COM - local media picks:

Jeff Duncan (Season record: 1-2)

Saints 21, Falcons 20:
Both teams should be motivated after suffering tough losses last week. A win would provide a huge early leg up in the NFC South race for the Saints. Look for the Saints' aggressive, opportunistic defense to make life difficult for Kirk Cousins. I expect a four-quarter slugfest, with the Saints scoring late to win.

Zach Ewing (Season record: 1-2)

Saints 21, Falcons 16:
Don't let one bad game and a couple of injuries fool you into thinking the Saints' first two victories were a mirage. This offense has had a week to figure out its offensive line issues, and the defense is still elite — especially against an offense that has an immobile quarterback and has struggled in the red zone.

Luke Johnson (Season record: 1-2)

Saints 23, Falcons 21:
I don't feel very good about this pick, but I'm going to choose to believe the Saints are closer to the team they were in Weeks 1 and 2 than they are to the team they were last week. Getting Taysom Hill back will help (check out his career stats against the Falcons), even if the offensive line is a big question mark.

Matthew Paras (Season record: 1-2)

Falcons 24
, Saints 21: Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson was part of a Los Angeles Rams staff last season that came up with a gameplan to absolutely shred New Orleans' defense. I could see Atlanta moving the ball, and quarterback Kirk Cousins' presence has helped unlock Drake London and Kyle Pitts. Factor in a makeshift offensive line for the Saints, and I have this down as a narrow loss.

Rod Walker (Season record: 2-1)

Falcons 27, Saints 24:
Before the season began, I had this as a Saints loss. After the first two weeks, I switched it to a Saints win. Now I'm flipping back to a Saints loss. Both teams are coming off disappointing losses, but the Falcons have running back Bijan Robinson, and he will make enough plays at home to hand Saints a second straight loss.

Defense will win this one for us. We just need to hang on to the football when we have it.
