With everyone having their recommendations of players for the saints to sign, how about a look at the "fans" choices of the past. Off the top my head without thinking these come to mind.

Chris Claiborn on the ILB FA list. Wasn't he a fan favorite on the boads and most everyone upset when the saints did not sign him? Didn't he prove to be a bust?

Tebucky Jones- Saints fans were ready to crucify saints Mgt if they did not bring this guy in. That worked well.


Interested in hearing other busts with saints or players the saints did not sign but that were fan favorites.

Ed Hartwell - Is cut now
Robaire Smith - Was not good in Tennessee and is not getting much interest in the open market
