Ok, I'm still waiting on more pictures/video from the affair, but I wanted to post the story before today's game as a morale booster.
I teach in St. Bernard Parish (~10 minutes from New Orleans, 20 from the dome). We have a teacher from Minnesota who got a little cocky as the week continued, topping Friday morning off with a Vikings helmet (horns and all). He conveniently left for a field trip with his English I students Friday, so the teachers at my school planned revenge. The best way to explain everything is to list.
1. First, wrote on all car windows to cheer on Saints.
2. Shredded reams of black and gold paper, cut into confetti, placed on student desks and teacher desk (later, thrown to cover floors)
3. Purchased giant inflatable Saints player, placed near teacher desk.
4. Printed dozens of "Favre Who" signs and taped throughout the room (including ceiling)
This is where it gets a little over the top
5. School band poised outside of hallway awaiting his return during 6th period. When the teacher returned from his field trip, the school band marched down the hall to meet him while playing "When the Saints go Marchin' In"
6. The principal popped out of his room to deliver his new Saints jester hat, along with a Saints shirt and other merch.
7. The band then second lined through all hallways, most classes left their rooms to second line with the band.
