Dalton Schultz would be a very good upgrade at TE if the Texans make him a cap casualty. He had a career year with Kellen during one of Kellen’s #1 ranked offense seasons. 3rd in TE receptions that year behind Andrews and Kelce.

I wouldn’t sleep on Holker either. Of note, Loomis pointed out how they want to get back to using all the guys on the roster, in so many words.

Specifically on offense Payton was masterful at drawing up plays for the waterboys and equipment managers on the team. That seemed to be lost under Allen who had preferred guys and even when Kubiak came in he focused on the primary guys.

I think Kellen is someone who’ll get back to what guys were used to under Payton where everyone gets a chance or an opportunity to make plays for the team
