Looks like our wronged brothers due north aren't quite ready to see their old team enjoy success this quickly. Wounds are still fresh. Interesting also to learn from this article that New Orleans is considered one of the "top two Mardi Gras cities in the country" alongside St Looey

I am confused by the fact that the article says at the end "And — we both wish we had an NBA team."
Can't tell if that is a dig at the pelicans or if this guy is just totally uninformed.

I'm fairly certain it's a dig at the Pelicans... or the NBA for all the "trade AD to LA" stuff that's going on

The writer (Benjamin Hochman) actually has some New Orleans ties. He wrote for the Times-Picayune a while back, and until pretty recently for the Denver Post.
