The drive last week vs Carolina that gave us our first lead at 23-20.

The Saints on a long 90 + yard drive and we throw what looks like might be the go ahead TD to Colston in the back of the endzone. The replay official doesn't overturn the incomplete pass call. Not shocking.

The Saints offense must overcome what should have already been a touchdown (meaning Colston on his good day makes that catch easily).

On 3rd and long the Saints execute a beautiful screen pass (or flare pass) to Thomas and he gets it down to the 3. First and goal. Forget about the Colston play earlier, we are going in for a touchdown anyway. But are we? No, we're called for holding on something that probably shouldn't have occurred since Thomas was already beyond Beason's reach (plus the fact I've seen much worse holding that was never called).

Now the Saints are backed up all the way to the 23 yard line and look to be taking a shot at getting it in closer to make this a chip shot FG.

But no, not these New Orleans Saints. Brees threads a perfect pass into a high flying flu stricken Marques Colston. Colston's patented catch with his hands extended out in front of his body doesn't transpire and the ball hits him in the facemask and then his chest instead and falls harmlessly to the ground between a mess of Carolina players. A healthy Marques Colston corals that ball easily and the Saints incredibly still come away with the touchdown.

Brees and Payton do not like kicking field goals. No offense John Carney.
