Read the above article and the only thing that was said was a non-football injury. Was that the reason they released him or was he just not good enough. I'm thinking that the injury would have kept him off the field for a good length of time, so the Saints released him. I'm hoping the open spot goes to the defensive side of the ball.

Just looked him up ... I hadn't realized Price was a former first round pick (Bengals, #21, 2018). He had a foot injury as a rookie, but still started for Cincinnati that year. The Bengals didn't pick up his fifth-year option and traded him to the Giants right before his fourth season was set to begin (8/30/2021).

Since then, Price has been on four teams, only starting one game (Week 7 for the Cardinals last season). I wonder if he ever got right from that foot injury.

Wow.
I thought Billy would be a solid o lineman coming out of college. The Saints were his 5th NFL team since being drafted in the 1st round back in 2018.
For whatever reason, he simply hasn't lived up to his draft status.

NFL is a different animal.
