Saints to interview Bills OC Joe Brady [on January 17th] (1 Viewer)

It's not that, Brady has a total of 3yrs as an OC , half of them bad. He was a QB coach for 1/2 a yr He has very little coaching experience compared to almost every other HC candidate. Does he strike you as a culture builder , leader of men?

You’re preaching to the choir. I know the deal with him.

OK so those 4 players except for Moore who got just under 1200yds they all just barely broke 1000yds , Let's look at where Car ranked in team offense, 24th. It's all about points scored. Having 4 guys barely break 1000 just means that it was spread around.

They are more run-oriented due to Allen running more he has over 500 yds rushing and 12 Tds
With and elite QB and a very good stable of WR and a good RB he can still only manage a top 10 offense . Without all that he's gets the 24th ranked offense.
He's had 3yrs total as an OC and only half of them successful. Where on earth do you see culture changing leader of men HC material at this time?
I don't want an OTJ learning HC that will take a couple yrs to figure it out
They were 24th in points while having one of the worst red zone offenses in the NFL...lol. And when you put things in it's actual perspective. they scored less than 2 less points than our top 10 scoring offense last season. Most scoring is done in the red zone and if there was an area that Joe Brady needed to improve it was there. Again, let's look at things in its entirety. The main thing that truly separates the 2020 Panthers from the 2024 Bills is that run game and the red zone. The 2024 Bills were #2 in red zone efficiency this season with 76% of their total TDs (20 passing and 27 rushing) coming in the red area. You are harping on an "elite QB" when in terms of passing the ball, Teddy was better. The 2020 Panthers issue was not being able to get it done in the red zone and that wasn't because of QB. That's something that Joe Brady had to own and as we can see, he has learned.

And they went to a more run-oriented offense because that better suits Josh Allen skillset. As I've said before, Buffalo fans ragged on Lamar Jackson because of his stats during his MVP seasons when Josh Allen is an MVP front runner with similar stats while being less efficient in the pass game. lol

He is an interesting candidate to say the least. I think this team is best served with an Offensive Head Coach.

I say that because look at the field the team plays on. You doing need to have a grind it out team playing most of your games on field turf. That’s part of the reason at have all these injuries.

Give me the high flying high scoring finesse offense inside the dome. Take advantage of no wind and weather. Use your advantages. This is an entrainment town. Entertain me Gosh dang it!

Underhill said on his podcast that he has no insider info on the favorite, but if he was making odds, he'd put Glenn and Brady as the best odds. McCarthy would be right there as well if he became available.

Huh? to compare 1 offense's scoring ranking to another teams ranking in a different yr?? Yeah 24th in scoring, is that not the only REAL offensive stat that matters?? The main thing that separates the 2020 panthers O from this yrs Bills O is Talent. Plus Allen has 12 rushing TDs . Yeah Brady has learn that having an ELITE QB that is just that running AND passing is a great way to have better RZ production.

I think Joe Brady would be a great choice to come in a help Rattler almost immediately. I would not complain if he gets the job.
