We have a stout run defense…but can’t stop a running QB worth horse crap. You test them early with Taysom and see what happens..
We don't... We are allowing 120 yards rushing per game.


That's the situation dependent match-up that I implied. We gotta see how they handle him. If we aren't eating early.... I see us abandoning it.

We did the past few years…but couldn’t stop a QB running. That’s my point…just because the Cards can stop a RB doesn’t mean they’ll do just as well against Taysom. And if the Cards are good against the run it makes sense to be creative on your running downs. Running Kamara up the gut, on the contrary.

I don't know... it feels like the running game isn't that creative. We have some creative plays, but we never seem to put together really creative sets. We just beat some lighter teams badly. If we do some predictable interior runs and power Taysom to the right side.... I don't have much hope on opening up the running game.

I would be perfectly happy to be wrong and we can run with authority.
