This is really funny. I just tried calling the Saints ticket office. I was put on hold waiting for a ticket representative--I was told I was number 22--and then I heard a recorded message from "Coach Sean Payton" thanking me for holding and hoping I enjoy the team's radio-broadcast highlights, which were done by Zach Strief.

You can't make this stuff up.

this is the difference between a sean payton run organization and a dennis allen. i'm sure dennis thinks he's too good to think about this stuff or someone else is handling it. dennis likees to talk a big game and i'm not sure what he does with all his time.

I guess we will find out quickly enough whether people in the Saints organization read this forum. It is embarrassing and unprofessional--especially given that Sean left the building 14 months ago and is coaching another team.

Saints Ticket office is awful. I'm having difficulty and receiving little to no help from them.

Super unprofessional. We're talking about maybe 30-60 minutes at most of work to change out the recordings to someone who is actually a part of our organization. Doesn't matter who it is. Dennis, a few of the players, whoever.

I could understand it last year. This year they should have something else.

In their defense, the ticket office hasn’t had to try very hard over the last decade and a half.

A sign of thin staffing over there?

Whenever the old TV screens would go “on the flip,” my grandmother would say, “Well, no one’s watching the tape!”

Indeed, no one’s watching the tape over there, ha.

They are doing double-duty pushing Pelican tickets when the Pelicans are in a freefall and dealing with Saint season-ticket holders with a Friday deadline for renewal. However, the Sean Payton recording is inexcusable. And yes, it shows a complete lack of attention to detail. And somehow, though the ticket office was not his bailiwick, I don't think this would be happening were Payton still the head coach. Were I the owner, I would be livid.

They tried to get Andy to do it but he can’t make long distance calls.
