Sunday, Sept. 8th is my 53rd birthday. I only want one thing. That is all. No birthday wishes; no songs; no material presents. Just victory over the Falcons. Sweeter than any cake; cooler than any ice cream, and it will fire me up more than any candles ever could.

My prediction: 34 - 17 Saints. WhoDat!

Man I've been thinking about that game so much.

Im going to say 45-27. The game is close up until late when we just start rolling. Cam Jordan bats a pass and it falls into the hands of Ramon Humber who returns it for a TD in the 4th quarter.

I think Atlanta comes out to an early lead against our D that's going to have some growing pains. We tie it up by the half (17-17, something around there), defense adjusts and offense takes over second half. Ending score: 34-24 Saints.

Saints Offense v. Falcons Defense:

Brees owns those guys, and the secondary will have holes, so he will connect with Graham, Colston, and Moore for one TD each. The new "outside zone" rushing attack will thrive against their one-dimensional pass-rushing defensive ends, to add two more scores. However, their linebackers are good enough to keep Sproles and Graham from totally dominating. Hartley makes one, misses one. Prediction: 38 points.

Falcons Offense v. Saints Defense:

Scientists will tune in to see what happens when the resistable force (our pass-rush) meets the movable object (their offensive-line). Ryan will get two TD bombs away to Jones/White, and will throw a few first-down conversions to Gonzales/Jackson. But the running game will not "rise up" enough against our stout D-line behind that porous O-line. Bryant connects for two long field goals (he's good) and two short ones when Coach Smith is afraid to go for it. Prediction: 26 points.

41-34 Saints

Brees gets redemption for his 5 interception, no TD game last time he played Atlanta. He reverses it with 5 TDs, 0 Ints in a game for the ages. Well actually just a day at the office for Drew.

They always get the lead but never keep it lol

Atlanta takes an early 14-0/two score lead and starts feeling comfortable. But the Saints go on a scurring flurry to finish with 27+ points by halftime, on their way to holding on for a 41-27 win.

42-21 with them scoring a garbage time touchdown. Coach is going to go balls to the wall for this game. Atlanta's Oline is pretty bad and I see the D getting at least four sacks.

27-24 or 28-24 Saints win. Hopefully 28-24 so I can cash in! Its a 3pt game. i cant see us blowing them away when we play them close most of the time. Being a divisional game, it'll probably be close. Then again? We may just sweep them with the intensity of the dome? Who knows? I just dont see Atlanta laying low agaisnt us considerign they wont fall that short from last yr.

31-21 Saints

Their first drive is going to be long and painful and we will go down early, but Brees will light them up and we will start to get a comfortable lead by the end of the 3rd quarter.

Brain Billick will still call it a win for the falcons.
