I thought they would but currently watching how bad Kansas City’s defense is which can’t stop any team, makes me reconsider my earlier prediction. The Seahawks have a below average or average offense and the chiefs are making the Seahawks offense look like world beaters. One has to have at least a somewhat decent defense to get to the super bowl. I can’t see Kansas City making it past the divisionals now.

Mahomes is good, very good, but he needs to have some help on defense. Kc defense looks like the worst in the league.

I’m going to say that we will face KC in the SB. History repeats itself. I see Mahomes’ season mirroring Dan Marino’s second season in the NFL. Dan threw for 5K yards, 48 TD passes, and faced Joe Montana in the SB. Mahomes (in his second season) is having the same type of year that Dan had (in his second season). Their second year stats are eerily similar. Joe had already won a title and so has Drew.

KC has had some easy games and their defense is bad. They are going to have a dogfight on their hands every single playoff game.

Bolts gonna make it one way or other

I think the former San Diego Super Chargers have an incredibly talented roster.

But unless they pass the Chiefs, they are going to have to play in the Wild Card round as a warm-weather West Coast team going possibly to Baltimore/Pitt or New England - though they could get "lucky" and face a pretty formidable Texans team in a dome.

For some reason I believe they may be better on the road

Obviously no defense.

And they refuse to be a balanced offense.

Reid trying to go all Madden on offense.

K.C. has one and done written all over them.

Remember, this is an Andy Reid coached team. They've only won a single playoff game under Reid. His record with the Chiefs right now almost looks identical to his record with Philly in those early years.

I think we'll face the Patriots and god I hope we do. That's the team we need to beat more than anything if we are winning it all this year.

I really think the Ravens are gonna do it. This year's AFC sets up as one of those classic examples of the top teams being suspect on defense and getting beat by some run-first, defense oriented team that comes up out of the wild card round.

They remind me a lot of the 2011 Saints - high powered offense with a below average/awful defense that won't ever win them the game.

Having followed a team with a record-breaking QB for a long time (the Saints!), I’ve learned that it doesn’t matter how gaudy your offensive stats are. There are QBs who have passed for 500 yds and lost.

It’s about efficiency. Moving the ball downfield, getting first downs and keeping the other offense off the field. It’s about not turning the ball over and converting turnovers into TDs.

K.C. doesn’t do that. They are fun to watch, but like the old Saints they are capable of scoring 35 points and losing.

Seattle made some incredible catches late in the game..and I would say got away with some push-off's to boot..but Chiefs defense not impressive at all!

Chargers are the only team that would give KC a fight. Texans are garbage. Ravens will get exposed too.
