I wish it was only today's NFL Draft that's got me up so early. No such luck. Old back injury is plaguing me, letting me know the weather's about to change.

So, while I'm waiting for the Motrin to kick in, let's see what the newspaper cartoonists have done this week.

Quite a few are bashing Jimmy Carter for visiting with Hamas, I see. I think I like this one the best...because of the T-shirt! Can you order those? :hihi:

The smirk on the buzzard's face is cool! Runner up for best Carter bashing cartoon.

Of course, the main theme among editorial cartoons is the on-going Clinton-Obama slugfest.

Nancy Pelosi flatly ruled out a "dream ticket" so, this cartoonist gave that a twist...

This guy's pretty clever. Someting familiar about that face? Yep, she's got the face of the Grinch.

And they're still beating up Sen. Obama over his "bitter" comments..

Cartoonists love McCain's jowels.

The recurring theme of the Clinton vs Obama slugfest helping McCain keeps popping up.

For the Civil War motif, I'll give this one the nod as my favorite on the presidential fight...er...campaign. Obama as a Union private, Hill as a Union officer, McCain as a Confederate general. I love it.

OK, this one gets posted because it made me laugh out loud and nearly choke on my coffee. The look on Obama's face... :smilielol:

Cartoons about skyrocketing gas and food prices are running in second place to presidential race cartoons, but catching up fast.

The Olympic torch relay and protests also made a showing, especially in the foreign press.

Bush cartoons have faded to just one or two here and there.

It's not Saturday morning, but this was just too good to pass up!

And for the second Saturday in May, we find lots and lots of satire about Senator Clinton staying in the race...
