They didn't get stuck with DA. DA was the choice the entire time and another candidate would have had to blow them away to get the job. It was a bad decision but not because he was the only option left.

There are plenty good coaches out there this year. They need to follow their process and not be pressured into a quick decision before you are sure that is the guy you want.

DA was the Saints first choice from the start. All the other interviews were shams so it wouldn't look like all the Saints did was interview Rooney rule requirements.
