Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll said Monday that Pitts suffered a serious concussion Sunday night against the Rams, while Baker fractured a bone in his hip.

Pitts played briefly in the first half Sunday after tackle Russell Okung was out for a short time and Polumbus shifted to tackl

since he did come out of the game

Okung returned, was playing in pain, but seemed to play pretty well.

Biggest hit with Pitts going down is depth. Seattle's OL is paper thin. You saw the line shuffle when Okung when out. They were a bad rushing team before so I'm expecting to see Seattle attempt 50+ passes this Saturday. I'd expect to see alot of deep balls thrown against us. There is no reason why we shouldnt have multiple sacks and ints in this game...

The Seattle radio reporter, that was on the WWL Coach's show last night, said that these guys didn't matter. He said you could pick someone from the nearest pizza kitchen to replace them for Saturday. Basically this is nothing.
