Someone Recap or record please.?!?!

Scott is gettin real chummy with the microphone these days - its a linebacker thing ,i guess :idunno: i wonder if he enjoys karaoke ? :covri::hihi:

Has a lot of respect for Vitt. Team had trial run without Payton while he was hurt last year.

Bounty - the longer this goes the more the facts will come out. People not involved with football don't understand the language used. Easy for them to misconstrue.

Asked if it will be a distraction - Scott says timing was good so that most of it was in the offseason. Team won't be distracted during season.

Asked about concussions - Scott says players now know what can happen, older players were not so well informed. Teams didn't take concussions seriously.

Asked about OTAs - are they necessary? Scott says this year they are a definite plus due to new defensive system. OTAs are not so helpful for linemen.

Asked about Drew's contract - Scott says team understands deal will get done. Drew deserves his contract and he is sure it will happen. Team has to work hard to remain under cap.

What will be different under Spags? Still going to pressure QB, just a different way. Under GW always man pressure, now will be zone blitzes.

Ummm.... heard the whole interview. I got nothing.

Very bad, very broad questions.

What is chance that team will have confidence to overcome all the adversity? Scott says team is not that far removed from winning it all. Huge chip on teams shoulders. Also huge that SB is in NO this year, very motivating for team. He says team has always come back strong from any and all adversity.

That is it for Scott. He gives a good interview, very well spoken.

did anybody ask how he is still on this team?

I think the primary reason is that instead of letting fans decide personnel decisions through a democratic process, the Saints hire experts in the field of football to decide who goes and who stays.

Good call - that way we don't have to watch practices of Walter Thomas trying to pressure Matt Leinart while Onome Ojo and Mike Hass run routes

Post of the day! The team would look like you described it if left to the fans!

Hence, the name........

So you're saying Onomoe Ojo isn't a beast? Sorry, I'm not buying it. He's got such great size!

And Walter Thomas? Have you seen him do flips- that guy can put pressure up the middle. No question.

;)

You hit the proverbial nail on the head. Not to mention the team would consist of mostly ex-LSU players, not that some of them aren't good, but it can get a little crazy around here with the double loyalties.
