If you were the owner, what would be your decision.

Mick is a made man, the only place he's going is a different part of the building

What result are you really expecting when asking the fans of a 5-12 team?

That’s like asking Congress to vote yes for term limits. Mickey ain’t letting that happen. Maybe Gayle would do something. Idk

Based on the original intent of the question, if I were owner, I'd give Loomis one more shot. He's earned that based on his hires before DA. But if this coach hire didn't work out after a few years, I'd be looking for a new GM.

You wasted a post.

I'd focus on how do we get back to the GM/Coach combo of ML/SP as opposed to the ML/DA duo. I think that would be a MM hire, a strong HC with a winning history and SB Championship.

i know a lot of you want him gone but there’s not a lot out there to choose from based on team interviews i have seen. i’d rather keep loomis and ireland and mueller together which i think is a strong team

You want to get back to what the Saints had when they HIRED Sean Payton, not what they had at the end. Hiring Payton was getting a fresh start with a new coach with innovative ideas who could possibly coach your team for the next 18 years. That's not McCarthy. He didn't come here with a Super Bowl win from over a decade ago. McCarthy today is closer to DA than he is to Payton of 2005.
