Spencer Rattler film breakdown (15 Viewers)

GREAT VIDEO. I'm not familiar with this guy or channel but he does a GREAT job breaking down the film, explaining the concepts, and I was VERY impressed with Rattler's moving defenders with his eyes.

This gives me a lot more faith in both Rattler and Kubiak moving forward.

He did a great job. He’s right Rattler could have gotten that ball out quicker on the 2pt conversion.

Otherwise, Rattler showed growth from his last action and also looked like a #2 w/ a ceiling to develop higher.

This video makes our need to upgrade the TE position glaring. Rattler really likes his TE options and uses them at a high rate. It would be smart to acquire a high level pass catcher at the position this offseason.
Just one of the many needs. JJ is not reliable, and Moreau is mainly a blocker, albeit a good one, and a decent receiver. To be fair, neither is a bad player, just not a great player. I wouldn’t pick a TE super high in the draft unless someone falls. Other needs are more acute.

What happened to d. Volker(sp). That pass catching te we picked up last draft?

TE or WR, our #1 offensive need (other than a HOF QB), is a matchup nightmare pass catcher. We have plenty of guys who can be #2’s on any given day, but unless you have a Mahommes, Jackson, or Allen, you need an alpha to catch passes.

That, and that they ride with Rattler for 2025, are my main wishes for this off-season.

I also thought he could have done a pump fake & hit Austin Jr. at the back of the end zone.

Hopefully it was a learning lesson for him.

I thought the same thing but after seeing the film it looks more like the defender let Austin go after SR was commited to the throw to the TE.

Tet in the first round, a decent TE can be had past the third round.

You are correct.
That is why a pump-fake to JJ then hit Austin might have worked.
The DB headed to JJ as soon as he saw Rattler lock onto him...
