Tough to take this game

Hopefully we will knock them out of playoffs, make it sweeter.

I think Payton and Brees were a great combination, but one of their weaknesses was a game like today. The constant disruptive pressure up the middle after McCoy went out is the kind of situation in which Payton and Brees would press too hard, leading to a lot of points off of turnovers. With Payton and Brees, this game would have been over by halftime. I like how Kubiak and Carr responded. It gave the Saints a chance to win all the way until the end of the game.

Hopefully, Patrick will do a better job at center after getting a week of starting reps at center and Hill will be back. I think the Saints win this game with a healthy Hill, even after losing McCoy.
