I like that the colors are brighter. I still don't like all the New 52 style line patterning. I also don't like how the suit looks like it doesn't fit him quite right. I like that the trunks are back and that the yellow shield is back on the cape. Overall, I don't hate it, but I would have gone for a less "busy" look.
To me, this suit has that classic Superman look. I love it. That said the Cavill suit does look better overall, I agree. I guess I'm a sentimental guy these days.
