Taysom Hill’s uniform featured at the Pro Football Hall of Fame (1 Viewer)

And how did Pete and DA reward him? by making him non existent in the game?
To somewhat of DA’s defense, he said in his Monday presser a few weeks ago that he’s managing Taysom’s workload when talking about AK’s.

It helps Taysom to stay less injured and fresh for later in the season. But that doesn’t mean keep him under 5 touches every other game and purposely make the offense stagnant in 1Hs or most of the game by not having him involved.

Load management is good for a bruiser but coaches don’t know how to effectively implement it.

that's about one of the dumbest things I've heard.

we are sucking offensively, we have a player that can probably give us a spark, but we don't want to give him too much of a workload, we may need him healthy at the end of the year when we miss the playoffs and then his workload will truly be zero because we aren't in the playoffs.

It makes a lot of sense when you think about Taysom being hurt in the second half of the season with various hand or lower body injuries for the last 3 straight seasons. We should be able to win games with 3 or 4 other playmakers at RB and WR.

They’re taking him out of gameplans altogether to play it safe too much is the issue. We have the wrong coaches implementing the concept.

The team is on their way to a first round playoff game though. The division’s outlook and the remaining schedule against below-.400 teams is setting the Saints up for the division title. Having Taysom healthy to unleash him in the wildcard is big, if that’s the goal they really have in mind.

My granny was like that with her good china. Then Katrina destroyed it and now we can’t use it.
