Announcement Taysom Hill out for the season with torn ACL-additional damage per Rapoport [Hill placed on Injured Reserve on 12/6] (6 Viewers)

Love Taysom, hate the Rams but that wasn't dirty. Just a small guy trying to bring down a big guy and back luck for Taysom that he was engaged from the other side when the hit came. P.J. Williams' hit on Godwin a couple of years ago looked more questionable/dirty.
Doesn't make me hate them any less...

I know we cant shut down top players this early but there types of injuries mid season affect the next season

4 top players on offense likely done for the season , counting CO and EM with just under half a season can put pressure and more plays on the only skill player that is a true starter in AK

Don’t see a knee injury being the end for TH like the concussion issues with CO but he could miss start or next season

Father time is undefeated. He will heal (recover) but what will he lose in athleticism and age.

Man I thought deliberately trying to shatter someone’s knee was illegal. It’s great to know that you can penalize 15 yards to our right tackle for whiffing on a block and rolling into a player (unintentional), however, the Rams player can target a knee (intentionally) without any repercussions. By the way, this injury may have ended Taysum’s career. Taysum’s leg bent back in the direction similar to Raider’s running back Napoleon McCullum.

We should have taken out one of there players on the next series. We need to become physical at O and D.
Unfortunately our team has been the target of illegal head shots and knee shots for years. It is definitely because refs turn a blind eye. But if it’s a Saints player committing the shots, you can best believe that a penalty and/or fine will occur!

The only way to get it to stop is to retaliate. Nobody cares about 15 yards if you knock out the other team's QB in the first quarter, and if the other team (e.g., Bucs) is taking head shots at your QB, the only way to get them to stop is to make it clear you will retaliate like for like.

But the D has become passive, soft, slow, and old.
