What does your gut say about Taysom's future

The options

He retires this offseason - He knows this injury is devastating and even coming back would have a huge impact on how he plays

He comes back next season, say week 6-8, his rehab went great and ahead of schedule, his dedication and work ethic and general freak of nature means he picks up right where he left off

He gives it the ol' college try, and does come back but the injury does indeed have a huge impact on how he plays and is nowhere the player he was

I think he comes back, but is used pretty sparingly, has some moments of the old Taysom but those plays are fewer and farther between and he retires after next season

I think he comes back diminished and probably not until after the season has already started. His contract nearly requires that he be restructured in order to get under the cap and even a diminished Taysom is better than not having him at the same cap number.

He's under contract through next season right? He restructured already this off-season. I think he stays and makes a comeback, but the Saints can't expect to build the offense around him like they did this year. He would be great for redzone/goal line situations. I don't think Jamaal is here next season and that was the role he was supposed to play. I think a smart OC will find a way to use him even in a limited role. I love Taysom, and guys like him and Kamara have kept the lights on during these frustrating seasons. I'm all for keeping these guys around if they want to be, but we can't still be looking at them as serious pieces to the future puzzle.

I voted “comes back next season” but I would add that he comes back better.

Father Time is undefeated, however he has never met an opponent like Taysom. I think Taysom makes Father Time cry uncle.

The acl doesn’t worry me. The “addintional damage” does. My guess is that means meniscus or other cartilage damage. That’s the one thing that cannot really be repaired. There are short term ways around it, but if that’s the case he will never be the same

Dude has overcome injuries his entire football career, dating back to college. Why would I ever doubt that man?!?!
