Thanks to everyone who gave up their tickets (1 Viewer)

because we didn't fire DA. I was able to improve my ST's plus add 2... Thank you thank you thank you

FWIW my ticket guy said there was 96% renewals...............
A ticket guy reached out to me yesterday about moving seats. I asked him how many tickets overall were available for this year and he said a lot. A lot is a relative term and I don't know if your guy or my guy is closer to the truth, but people get rid of seats for a lot of reasons.

Interesting.. 4% of 70,000 would mean only 2,800 non-renewals.... I too wonder who is closer to the truth

2,800 seats being available is a lot, but I suspect most of those are the $250-$300 seats. I would think long and hard before giving up seats in the loge endzone or plaza endzone or between the 20s in the terrace. That's where the value is. I doubt very many of that 2,800 would be "good" seats, meaning affordable with decent views.

It could be 4% of owners who might have more seats.

That would shock me. I know a lot of people who gave up tickets before last season and even more who did so after last season. Some complained about the inconveniences surrounding the renovations, to the poor play on the field. However, more than a few were concerned about the safety of themselves and their vehicles, which is a shame. I have had my seats for over 35 years and I have heard of more people giving up their seats than I had heard in quite some time.

I got an email a week or two ago asking if was interested in relocating. I already have 50 yd line aisle seats on row 5 of the upper box. Wouldn’t trade them for any other seats in the house at that price point. Figured it was a mass emailing.

IMO, the 96% seems more likely.
All the stories about cancellations seem exaggerated.

Not when the people you know do not show up the next season. Unless they sold their "rights" directly to someone else. In that case, it would be considered a renewal by the Saints. 96% seems high regardless.

I actually gave my tickets up after 33 years. I let s nice couple transfer them to their name (no cost). I live 4 hours away and it just got to be to expensive. Before COVID I attended every home game but 6. We are gonna miss it but won’t miss the 8 hours on the road every game day. We loved every second of it.

But to act like 50% or more are canceling?

I was relocated last year due to the removing of the upper box corner a few years ago. They call every year now and ask if I’m still looking for a better spot than where I am at now (upper box corner one section over from the removed section). I’m not a fan of a few things the saints have done in regards to tickets the last few years, but they have done a very good job reaching out about seats before the normal relocation window opens.

I don’t blame you on those 50 yard line seats, I’d love to move that way I just have other priorities financially right now and can’t pay the extra 600 per seat times the four seats I currently have. They had several sets of two all around the upper box areas, but not four together in the corner.

I was one of those on the fence about giving up my seats this year. Debated long and hard about renewal. In the end I was happy with our offseason. I can tell you this had we gone into this year with Jameis and Andy, I would have given up my seats after 17 years.

I was relocated from 500 section last year due to renovation. I am actually happy with 1st row corner in 600 section. I'm not moving.
