What was funny about the Ricky trade was it amounted to nothing for Washington.

These lists love to spotlight how much the Saints gave up to get Williams but they NEVER mention what the Saints got in return for him from Miami just a few years later. Four picks, including two firsts.

So the net total between the two trades isn’t nearly as bad as these lists make it out to be, IMO.
