I wouldn't say it's exactly that. Its our apparent misplacement of priorities. I feel like folks are conducting team operations as if their priority is maintining their own employment by doing just enough over actually being successful.

This lines up with that other Twitter study from last year saying we have the most toxic/negative fans. It's crazy because we used to be what the Lions are now.

We are actually this toxic, though. The "not my QB" fan wars proved that.

That's sad how our fans have become. I knew there will be some down feeling after Brees but geez. Even having Dalton behind center we were not that bad. I rather be in this position than half of the team right now. But I guess people feel what they want to feel.

Pretty accurate to me. I thought it was just me at a time. But then reading articles, listening to podcasts and so on, there just seems to be a dark cloud over the 2024 New Orleans Saints. No matter how hard Cam Jordan is trying to sell the fans on the NFL on the Saints being contenders, I think the majority are accepting or projecting a very bad season.
