I'll probably come off as just as much of a fanboy as you, but I started listening to their stuff a few months ago and I really like it. Can't wait for the new album.

I've got every black keys album ever made!!!!

Thickfreakness, Rubber Factory, Chuluma, Magic Potion, The Moan, The Big Come up.... and i've seen them live 3 times... they truely are the best band out right now.... They hooked up with Danger Mouse, from (dangerdoom, Gnarls barkley, and the Grey Album) for their newest album, Strange Times.... i kinda wish they woulda just stuck with the Basement type albums that made them Unique but i'm kinda interested in this new album.... 2 songs i've heard sound good.....

if you don't own Rubber Factory, go to ur record store and buy it NOW!!!

bought The Big Come Up in 04, bought Magic Potion in 06 and thought it was ok, but theyre back with this new one. It's awesome.

I don't see how these guys could ever top The Big Come Up.
Incredibly full sound, and just a two piece band. Auerbach's got a great voice that matches what they do very well. I always thought it was ironic that they're two kids from the Midwest (Ohio). I picture them being born in a sharecroppers shack in the Delta. Been up on them for 8 or 9 years and still haven't seen them live.

I just wanted to tell you guys, that I will be picking up Rubber Factory tomorrow. I read this thread a couple of days ago, and saw that video. I've been hooked on "Stack Shot Billy" since. Man, I love the guitar riffs in that song. I can't wait to hear the whole album.
