Someone posted that through two weeks the Saints have gone from last to first in play action and I'm sure the tracking of pre-snap motion will show a similar change. But there is something else that I "felt" but couldn't put my finger on.
The Saints rank 28th on the Cook Index, passing only 41 percent of the time on early downs in the first 28 minutes of games, before score differential and time remaining tend to influence play calling. Kubiak’s former boss, Kyle Shanahan of the 49ers, ranks 29th at 41.2 percent. That suggests Kubiak is approaching games the way Shanahan would approach them, at least early on.

So the Saints are running the ball a LOT more than under the past regime. We all know Sean was stubborn about actually running the ball even when he said we need to be committed to it. KK has brought a whole new approach with the wide runs to stretch the field and Kamara is an ideal back for this scheme. KK is hitting on all cylinders.
