so sounds like he had a truly epic meltdown - -combine that with his 1st half poopfest in the dome, is there a future for him?
it would take an iron will to come back from this
we'll also see if McVay can bounce back from this

also what's the deal with Gurley - is it just injury or is something else going on?

At one point, Goof looked completely frozen, unsure what to do, and took a sack from a player running directly at him as if he never saw him right in front of him. Whatever he's got/had, McVay and the offensive line gave it to him.

Think Gurley is "just" injury .. but who knows?

No future if McVay doesn't stop coddling him and allow him to learn to read a defense himself.

Gurley's injury is probably worse than they let on. We will probably hear about it now that the season is over.

McVay has a punchable face and he always seems to be hyped up on speed or something but he'll probably bounce back from this as he seems like a smart young coach.

Didn’t watch.

Everyone knows Goff is only as good as his cocaine addled Head Coach. His hand must be held.

Gurley is hurt and has been.

His rookie season he was beginning to be called a bust. Then they get a new coaching staff and he was looking great until towards the end of the season and into the playoffs. Did teams "figure him out"? Only the future will tell. The great ones are able to adjust. We shall see.

Isn't concealing an injury against the rules?

Goff was under heavy pressure the entire game. It's stunning how poorly the Rams offensive line played.
Is that the 'NFL Offensive Line of the Year' you're referring to? Not sure I saw those guys turn up...

Goff is a decent system QB, but a great coordinator/coach eats systems QBs for breakfast in the Super Bowl. Always have, always will.

This is exactly what I was going to say. I think Goff has a good future, maybe not great but really good. He has the tools and ability but like said above, if McVay does all the mental work for him it will really hurt his abilities later on.

Isn't not calling a blatant penalty against the rules? Rules don't seem to bother the NFL, as long as it's convenient.

Agreed with this. In the coming weeks, we'll find out more on the real reason on Gurley's injury.

Heck with the future of Goff, what about the future of Todd Gurley? That guy was an MVP candidate, and in the last two games he has a total of 14 carries for 45 yards and 1 td.

The weird thing is a few times he got the ball, he made some things happen -- he just wasn't getting the ball. It reminds me of how the GSoT Rams would sometimes just stop feeding the ball to Faulk because Martz was out-thinking himself.

I'd have to imagine that Gurley is injured significantly -- however, I also wonder if McVay was trying to overthink things and tried to not feed the rock to the key playmaker.
