Neither Gilikin or Hedley express confidence.

I think this is a position to follow once the cuts start. Matt Araiza is still available and it seems that his name was cleared. I really don't have an informed opinion about him and his situation.

But frankly, I don't see us going to the season with these punters.

Don’t disagree. Too many shanked punts and inconsistency. It’s nice that they rebound after but if we’re going to be a highly penalized team, losing more hidden yardage via bad punts is unacceptable.

Not a popular opinion but I wasn't too impressed with him last year doing it. I miss Deonte Harry. Always felt like he was to going to break one every time he touches. We miss that last year. Definitely not this preseason either.

I'd add I was more worried about him fumbling it or muffing it way more often than him ever breaking one.

Agreed. It’s a mess.

I would hate to see it cost us a game. I have a feeling we are going to be looking at hard at cuts. The positive is that it’s the one position that really doesn’t rely on anyone else (even a kicker needs chemistry with his holder).
