If someone would have asked me that question yesterday my guess would likely have been someone like Trevor Lawrence.
And I would have been wrong with that guess.

Today I learned that the winningest college football quarterback was from Boise State with a 50-3 record.
And his name is Kellen Moore. (According to Doug Mouton of WWLTV Ch 4 in New Orleans.)

So, does that record mean anything about his qualifications as a head coach? Probably not... but it should mean that he knows something about the offensive side of the ball.
And I'm okay with that!

I've been a Boise State fan for a long time. Big school LSU, Mid-major Boise St., and small school McNeese St. Reason for Boise St. was back in the day they would play on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, whenever... And they were always televised because nobody else was really playing mid-week. So I got football on random days. And they were good and fun to watch.

The Kellen Moore years were awesome. Dude was amazing. I understand a "little" more about the pro game now and how it compares to college, but I really really believed Kellen was gonna be a monster in the big leagues. I still wonder what exactly kept him from having success at the next level. Same with Titus Young although I think it may have been injuries with him, or something of the sort.

Regardless, those Boise St. teams were fun to watch. Sort of like prime Drew Brees Saints. Lots of offensive fireworks. Kellen as a HC is something I can get behind. Hope he does well. Small shoes to fill following DA.

I thought it was Danny Wurieful. :ROFLMAO:
