The late game heroics by Olave would make you believe that our defense sold(terrible play on the rub to Gaddart), but This falls on the offense. Now we can come back down to earth on Kubiak and Carr. Not once did we work the middle of the field consistently. Alvin was available on a few plays but Carr was looking for other levels too often and missing easier opportunities. The OLine got abused by Fangio's pass rush. Zach was on a mission made easy by so many missed blocks. McCoy being out really showed even tho Patrick played well imo. I feel for the defense. Shouldn't have been in that position late in the game. They gave our offense way too many opportunities to do something.

yeah but the Eagles defense also played lights out stopping the running game and we are a running team. That is the philosophy that Kubiack runs the offense through.

I would not be surprised if the Eagles studied film from the first two Saints games. I had a feeling this game was going to be tough.

It is clear that the offense did lose the game today. Maybe they figured something out from the films.

The silver lining to this game, however, is that Denver defeated the Buccaneers. So we should still be in first place.

Thats why you work the middle of the field. If they play tighter in the box to stop the run you throe underneath that umbrella coverage and work the middle.
