No Zion all year, Hart has missed significant time, Ingram has missed a bit of time, and a rookie has been in the starting lineup and ever since that 1-12 start in the cellar they are over .500 and threatening to climb into the playoff competition (especially with Lillard about to miss a lot of time).

I thought Murphy was going to be a big time contributor but Herb Jones is turning into an absolute steal in the draft. If this team could get healthy in the second half of the year it could make some noise

The biggest thing is they are learning how to close out games. That 1-12 stretch had some close games that we gave away at the end. Its been an issue for a few years dating back to Gentry's tenure. If Green can continue to get them pull out close wins like this, they could be set up for success for a long time.

If Zion could actually get healthy, I think the Pels could do some damage. They started 1-12 and been .500 since. Zion and Kira Lewis been gone all year, Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart have missed a third of the year, and they have had 3 rookies playing a good bit (Herb Jones, Trey Murphy, and Jose Alvarado). Herb Jones is now the 6th ranked rookie despite being a second rounder and not really becoming a starter until the 20th game.
Since then he averages 1.7 steals, 11.7 points, and just over a block a game while shooting .496 and .370 from behind the line plus he is already a good defender. Steal of the draft right there

They are in the #10 slot, trending in the right direction, and would be dangerous should they get into the postseason tournament.
