@LarryHolder: #Saints DNPs: Bush (ankle). Limited: Hill (hamstring), Dawson (calf). Full: Harper (hip). Panthers' Steve Smith (finger) missed practice

So is Steve Smith the only banged up Panther? He's definitely playing through a jammed finger, so they're healthy otherwise?

According to the Saints iOS app, it says:

RB Jonathan Stewart (knee) DNP
WR Steve Smith (finger) DNP

TE Brandon Williams (hip) Limited

T Jordan Gross (non injury) Full
TE Greg Olson (foot) Full
G Travelle Wharton (non injury) Full

Thanks for that, but it really confirms that the Panthers are pretty much full-go.

Stewart wasn't playing anyways, and the rest are non injury or full.

So the report on the injury to Smith's finger ranges from a "jammed" finger to a "dislocated" finger. He was limited yesterday but DNP today, that is strange for a "jammed" finger. I wonder if the injury is broken finger or an open dislocation. Him bing out would be huge (not getting my hopes up).

Really hope the Saints pull out a win, cause I'm not sure I want to know the feeling of having the division title pulled out from under our feet in the second to last week of the season - when we had it penciled in and carried ourselves around as division champs since Week 5.

Team rested on it's laurels, thought they were good enough to just show up to MetLife and the Edward Jones Dome and have wins handed to them. So they only have themselves to blame if they end up losing this week, and dropping to the #5 seed.

Greer back in the locker room today. No crutches, maybe he brought a bat.

"@MikeTriplett: #Saints CB Jabari Greer, now one month into recovery from season-ending knee injury, was in locker room. Starting to walk w/o crutches ..."

And a little bit of humor.

"@MikeTriplett: Said #Saints Greer: "By the end of the month, I'm looking to be able to skip.""

@MikeTriplett: RT @DNewtonespn: #Panthers WR Steve Smith jokes that he's out Sunday with jammed finger. He's not. Finger won't keep him out of this one.

Smith is playing. No question.

Maybe Holder was indicating Smith gave the finger?

#6 seed if (when) SF wins.

I did not think it would, but a guy can hope.

However, he says a finger would not keep him out of a game but it could make him less effective. A finger (depending on the severity) can be a bad injury for a receiver.
