NFL network doing a segment on it, they showed game footage of the following 3 players

Ryan (4-6)
Cousins (0-1)
Garoppolo (0-0)

Trying to figure out who they have as 4th and 5th highest paid QBs.

Alex Smith is 2-5 in the playoffs, so that is a likely candidate. But that would mean the other QB world have to be 1-0, which is virtually impossible.

Matthew Stafford is 0-3. That would leave the other QB at 3-2.

Andrew Luck is 3-3.

...which proves the point I often make about the market for quarterbacks in general to be wayyyyy over-inflated these days. And with each new "height" in salary each offseason, it's a new low for the concept of logic.

Cousins, Keenum and Smith aren't worth the money they've just been paid for this season, period. Conversely, the QBs in the league with some real skins on the wall are worth every penny -- Brees, Brady and Rodgers, primarily.
