Strangely I'd almost forgotten the '06 Bengals game, but remember the one 18 years ago pretty well.

9/12/1993: New Orleans Saints def. Atlanta Falcons 34-31: 557 total yards

As incredible as it may seem, the third highest total yardage game in Saints history came while Jim Mora was head coach in New Orleans. The NFL's top defense mustered up an offensive show for the ages in the Georgia Dome as New Orleans ran up 557 total yards on their rivals, the Falcons. This was the game where Lorenzo Neal(notes) made his famous 74 yard run after it looked like he was stopped at the line of scrimmage.

The game was great and all, but its hard to believe that it was our 2nd highest yardage game in team history.
