Hey all, I know this section is for Saints fan traveling to away games but I'm all the way in Cali and me traveling to New Orleans is a road trip

Saints have been my favorite team since I was n the 4th grade --- it has always been my dream to see them play LIVE in NEW ORLEANS and now that time is finally here.

I need some suggestions though.. I have a hotel booked HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS on 221 CARONDELET STREET. The reviews say that is within walking distance of the Super Dome is that true? The other Hotel I looked at was Canal Street Hotel - French Quarter... Which one is better???

Also, any suggestions for a first timer in New Orleans?? Any tips is well appreciated thanks!! I'm so darn excited to finally see them in New Orleans!!

Check with priceline you can get a 4 star motel 69.00 per night. Stay away from the Canal st hotel! There are tons of motels within 8 blocks of the dome!

I was going to uese priceline but I've had some nightmares with it in the past when I travel!!! I think I'm going to stay at the Holiday Inn Express fro 79$ a night. They say it's a short walking distance from the dome. I mean priceline has been great sometimes not always. I did stay at the Hyatt regency in Washington D.C for 55$ but there's been other dumps and nightmares with it.
