Two Short Weeks in a row? (1 Viewer)

We have the short week for the Tampa Game, but does anyone know if we'll have another short week afterward, possibly having to play the NFC West winner on Saturday January 8th? Last year, the 4 vs 5 seed NFC matchup was on Sunday, However, the opposite was true in the AFC. If it is something they switch up year to year, we would play on Saturday. I don't like the idea of travelling on two short weeks in a row.

Well, at least we'll be playing the NFC West on a short week. I'd be only slightly concerned if were anyone else.

I think it has to do with the ratings and the networks. I believe NBC is guarranteed the Saturday evening game and they will likely want the Eagles/6th seed in that slot. The 6th seed is likely to be either GB or NY and either would probably bring in the best ratings. That would put the Saints playing Sunday if the Panthers lose as expected.

which i thinks plays to the staff's strenghts

As I posted in another thread (http://www.saintsreport.com/forums/showthread.php?t=188425) there is no set pattern for either the wild card or divisional round, other than one AFC game and one NFC game each day, and the Saturday games are 330p and 715p (central) with the Sunday games at noon and 345p (plus they will never have a game on the west coast start in the noon Sunday slot):
