Yep. We have had a lot of bad draft classes as of late. Makes you wonder if they just weren’t being put in the best position to succeed.

He should have never been drafted for the scheme Allen runs. That was the failure overall - wasting a pick on a guy with talent that didn’t fit the scheme.

I wouldn't be shocked if Gruden ended up coaching the team given his history here. Could be great, could be a failure, hard to say.

I know I don't really want to see Carr back at QB, but will we have a better option next year? Hard to say.

All I can do is hope they leave no stone unturned and make smart decisions that will equal success and give us an exciting team to watch.

But he does fit the scheme. He's playing the same position in Philly that they converted him to here. Took some time but he ultimately does fit the scheme while we fans were yelling to move him back to a rush end and third down rush specialist.

The problem wasn't that he didn't fit the scheme, he's clearly a fit and Hodges turned him into a very good off ball LB. The problem is that DA could not see that Baun was a better LB than Werner and 40 something year-old Demario. I get Demario given his leadership but not starting Baun over Werner, who is solid but nothing special, is unforgiveable. And since he didn't play, the front office had no idea what they had in Baun.

DA always had his favorites and he always stuck with them. He would never give younger players a shot unless he was forced to do it. Glad DA is no longer part of this organization.

That being said, I doubt Baun was look as good here as he does in Philly because we don't have close to the talent on the DL to protect our LBs the way Philly does.

I have to say that I really like what Kingsbury has done with the Washington offense. Not that I think we have the QB to do the exact things they are doing, but Kingsbury has totally changed from the scheme he used to run, to adjust to Daniels. That's the kind of thing a great offensive mind does and can do.
