NFLPA and Jonathan Vilma lawsuits consolidat - 07-07-2012

"Judge Kurt Engelhardt further consolidated the lawsuits against the NFL in the Eastern District Court of Louisiana Friday morning. Engelhardt created a master file for the two complaints filed by Jonathan Vilma and the suit filed by the NFL Players Association on Thursday.

A settlement conference in the consolidated cases was scheduled for July 23 in front of Magistrate Judge Daniel Knowles. The NFL, NFLPA and Vilma, however, will likely not reach a settlement agreement at the hearings.
