Welcome back Deonte Harris (1 Viewer)

Man he is good. He is so fast that his comeback routes are amazing!
Last week, I told another poster that I think he’s developing into a very good WR! You gotta respect his deep speed, so he’s learning how to break it off, n come back to the ball!

But if there was a pass Trev would like to have back, it was the completion to Deonte on a slant play. Harris beat the CB, but had to adjust a lil to make the catch. But man, IF Trev hits him in stride, Deonte might’ve taken dat one to da house!!!

he's a legit WR, I just wish we would treat him like one and let him get in more snaps on offense, he's a nightmare for the defense to defend

I just want Harris to remain healthy for the rest of the year. Without him we lose a major weapon that can really spark our team.

That said, I do have to wonder whose decision it was for him to return kickoffs from the back of the endzone. I do know that he is a threat to take any return to the house at any time. Perhaps the Saints were just hoping he could improve the starting field position to help the offensive series. And at least once he did manage to break it past the 25 yard line. But what a risk it is to his health when 10 bigger men are flying at him to take him down.

I love to see his returns because he is so good at making people miss. But we need to limit the chances of getting him hurt again. Perhaps it is just his nature to do all he can to help the team and thus decided for himself to take off running from the end line. But I get the feeling that if it was solely his decision, we may see the coach asking him to hold off when a kickoff reaches the back of the endzone. I'm not sure if the odds of improving the field position is worth the risk of potential injury to himself.

We need Harris to stay in good condition. He is definitely a difference maker in the Win-Loss column.
