This is our experience and our football purgatory. Let me explain how it will get worse or remain the same.
Derek Carr is terrible first year of a new offense. He knows it, we know it. Part of the off-season story was that he was working extra hard to not have it happen again. Sadly he was hurt. But let's say that struggle would be real and continued.
And remember he has a contract where cutting him is unlikely.
Let's say the saints decide that a coach with such a terrible performance has to go, this means that Derek Carr gets his 3rd OC in three years.
By then his contract is coming up and they might decide to cut bait and truly rebuild.
Then we wind up with a rookie QB and unless he shows greatness in the first few games, we wind up with more Billy Joe's (look it up if this is new to you).
But I am ready for this TV show, this experience, this team, this staff, to end.
