What did you think of Buck and Aikman's commentary? (1 Viewer)

I thought it was absolutely horrible!!! It really did hinder me from enjoying the game. All they were talking about was how much the Vikings needed to win this game!!!. They didn't mention how a win for the Saints gives them the NFC South until like the 4th quarter.

I grew tired of hearing all about the Vikings injuries. Were out there with practice squad WRs and missing the NFL sack leader and I have to hear about their injuries??

Same here. I thought other than that storyline they did a good job calling the game. But all NFL teams have injuries and having a guy at the level of MT out is a bit more important than the Vikings defensive guys. Yet, I don't remember them even mentioning that CGM was out.

Agreed, not sure why a fan base always comes up with the tried and true complaint of "the announcers hate us".

Vikings fans are definitely up in arms about Buck/Aikman fawning over Kamara.

And this classic line from Aikman after Carr was out of bounds in the back of the endzone after making a great catch on an unbelievable pass by Brees, "Even their incompletions look good". Yeah that went over well with the Viking faithful.

I actually thought they were more pro-Saints than usual, especially Aikman but I definitely see the points y’all are making. I got real irritated after Thielen’s TD when they spend the whole time wondering how it was called a TD and then when the refs gave it them they started shilling for the league.

Overall though they weren’t as bad as usual but maybe that was because they had no choice but to say good things.

I haven’t watched a Saints game with my wife in years, but it being available on prime I decided heck it why not. First thing she said after a quarter was why are they talking more about a rookie than Drew freaking Brees... I love this lady!

I just finished watching the game so it's fresh in my mind. I found them to be very pro-Saints for this game. They gushed repeatedly over the Saints offense from the 1st quarter to end of game.

I also found them to be extra critical towards the Vikings defense in particular. Cracking jokes at how bad they were...they actually made me laugh a couple times which never happens when they're announcing.

They got even more loose lips towards the end of the game and seemed to be having a good time. Normally these 2 annoy the hell out of me, but not today.
