What do you guys think about Jalen Tolbert (1 Viewer)

Good size, ran a 4.44 in the combine. I like him as a guy that'll take over #2. I could see us drafting a tackle in Rd 1 and a guy like Tolbert later in the draft.

Do you guys know anything about him?

He is one of the prospects I like, seems like he has the traits we want.

I think in a scenario where Michael Thomas is back healthy (seems that way) and Terron Armstead leaves in FA (distinct possibility), drafting tackle in round 1 and WR in round 2 would suit.

Trevor Penning is an intriguing prospect at OT and should be available at 18, perhaps even a litlle lower. I suppose the question is whether FO is happy with Ramczyk and Hurst combo at T, with a couple of our younger guys as swing.

I think there are a good range of WR's available after 1st round. Tolbert is in that group certainly. Definitely believe we need to add something early to that group, unless we invest in a good no2 guy in FA.

I think our WR pick has to be Wilson or Olave in the first. Both are friendly with MT and that will help hold down his diva while he gets back into the swing of things.

Wilson looks like the best route runner in this draft

I think it all depends on if Armstead walks, if so I hope they go OT in the first if a elete one is there at 18. I think this is a deep draft for WR's.

Yeah, there look to be a lot of boxes you can tick with Penning - size, athleticism, experience, temperament, work ethic/strong development arc.
