I think they came about in ~2011 (Reebok) to pay homage to the 60s uniform, and were last seen in 2016 (Nike). I'd love to see them again.

Good question. Those are wonderful. If they just matched up the golds better, it would be so awesome if these were our home unis and the color rush whites were our road unis. The sleeve stripes are incredibly sharp and classy.

Toss in black alternate pants to have a third option to go with the golds and whites.

Oh, and I love the bigger fleur-de-lis.

Me too. I checked my old emails and apparently I bought it in early 2009 on clearance from the Fox Sports shop ($25!), so maybe they were around earlier than 2011 but not worn by the Saints until then. I'm trying to find another but i dont see any out there.

Nothing better than that huge FDL on those helmets. I like the new one and the change was subtle but still, that big FDL brings back some memories.

I'd like to see them wear The Dome Patrol era uniform with the state patches. That state patch was one of the more unique things in sports. It was great.

I've been thinking about these and think we should do an alternate to the color rush. Have the regular color rush for away games and then throw a black version out for big home games.

The only Saints uni that I don't like is the white jersey with black pants.

The '87 black on gold or the throwback 1967 black & gold are my favorite (1a & 1b), with white & gold numbers running second.

Always felt like the white numerals looked cheap. Like something you'd see on our practice jersey. Actually, they're exactly what we use on our practice jersey now; even the outline.
