They won't but if reports are true that Sean wanted to return in 2022 but ML and the organization said no, then it would serve us right.

I hope beyond hope that story is never confirmed. Sean will write a book when he retires, so we will find out.

In order to even get there, they would have beaten:

(1) Buffalo

(2) Kansas City (and not that preseason lineup they beat earlier today)

(3) In all likelihood, Baltimore.

Forget returning to New Orleans for a Super Bowl, I'd be just about ready to hand him the championship just for accomplishing all of that.

I guess I'm holding on to the past. I read that as a what if the Saints made the SB in 2018, what would be different?

We don't truly know what went on with Payton and the FO to have things play out the way they did. Would be really happy for Payton, but definitely some jealousy. Like seeing an ex that dumped you and is with their new partner.
