Crazy day yesterday.

I think it's out of the Jets and Saints.

I still don't understand how the Bengals defense gave up 34 points yesterday. But then the Saints middling offense scored 29 against a solid Bucs defense. The Vikings game I can chalk up to Kirk Cousins. Dude is a joke.

I think our win was more improbably given the circumstances. Jameis goes down, Trevor comes in for his first action since 2019, against Tomathy and the Bucs knowing this is crucial for not only the division lead but playoff positioning. Not to mention, Taysom was also out and Book was inactive. And then on top of that you still are missing MT. That's a lot to ask for a guy in a game that has more factors to it.

Give a lot of credit to the Jets and Mike White, they surprised a lot of people with that win yesterday.

Saints have the most solid D of the three. A new QB, in particular one who has been in the system for awhile, often torches 2 or 3 teams before D coaches can pick apart the game. We often say back up QB's destroy us but it happens to all teams.

With all that said, only one team beat the Superbowl champs with the GOAT in high gear. Saints, final answer no whammies.

I expected the Cowboys to win. Their offense is stacked. Their defense is also pretty good.

Vikings have Cousin Kirk and the Keebler elf as a coach.

Jefferson's career is being wasted. May have stats, they won't be sniffing a championship for a while.

Teams have to learn how to win in the NFL week in/week out.

Bengals are just finding this out after decades of mediocrity. Its not easy, and human nature will step in to slap you back to reality if you dont put in 100% week in/week out.

Thats what happened to the Bengals- saw a 1 and 5 trash team with a 3rd string back up and figured 75% effort would see them thru.

Unfortunately for them, thats not how team sports work.

We went thru a period of this on our ascendency - learning how to win consistently in sports is a real thing. Remember the 0-8 Rams w/ Marc Bulger?

Or any one of teams with pure rookie QBs that gave us the "oh shirt" game?

yeah ...Bengals looked RIGHT past the Jets and paid for it. Hubris.

As Saints fans we tend to only focus on our own team so we think these things only happens to us. For example, losing to the Giants. If you watch a enough football you see it happens to everyone. The line between winning and losing in the NFL is razor thin, if you don't bring it every week you will lose to teams that might not be as good as you.

Gotta be the Saints. Jets and Cowboys knew their QBs weren't playing. And we had to play a 6-1 Defending Champs team with the supposed GOAT at QB. Not even close imo.

The Jets, and it’s not close. If you want proof, look at our Survivor Bowl. Nobody had Tampa, half of the remaining players had Cincinnati.
