I believe PITT was a 27 point dog against WVU 3 seasons ago.

All WVU had to do was beat a 2 win team at home named the Panthers on the last game of the season and they are the #1 team in the country playing in the Superdome for the National Championship.

LSU had no chance to play for the National Championship.
There was just no way WVU could lose to a team with only 2 wins on the season. It just cant happen.

But something funny happened that night. They had to play the game.
PITT won that game. The Panthers
LSU won the National title.

As a WVU and Saints fan, it really isn't close. The Pittsburgh loss was the much bigger upset.

It isn't like Carolina winning will send the Saints to the Super Bowl. It will only give us the #1 seed. Heck, that won't even happen if the Saints lose Sunday.

I agree, but I will bet you anything the poll for the Panthers beating the Falcons will win in a runaway.

People just dont understand that Carolina will be nowhere near a 27 point dog in this game.

I predict 16.5 to 17.0 at the most.

Thats a full 10+ less then WVU was over PITT, but I bet you this poll will favor the other side by over 70%
