The defense - they are playing great, but it’s against world beater offenses or quarterbacks.

The offense - The going theme here on this board is that things will get better as the team progresses (from the oline gelling, to Carr gelling with his weapons).

Neither- there is a chance that the defense gets exposed, and that the offense never finds a rhythm.

The offense WILL gel more as the season goes on, but I don't think that means they will be great. Carr can do all the things he needs to do if the line can give him a bit more time. As it is, you can see the yips in him and I really don't like it. It's the same rushed throws we were seeing from Winston.

The defense was lights out until DA stupidly had them in prevent.

That is the time to go prevent (a 2 score lead at the end of the game).

We lose both these games with last year's offense. Defense is LEGIT. O line play and red zone offense stink to high heaven.

The offense is rough. The o-line is the biggest culprit. Carr had a really ugly game, oline problems or not. They lost faith in the run game too quick when Williams went out. O-line was getting 5 yards of push on runs up the middle. Carr broke under that much pressure, not a good look. That said they can make plays and it's saving them. They can certainly get better but we need to start seeing better play to play performance. My real longterm concern is the o-line pass protection. So crucial.

Nothing needs to be said about the defense except elite.

The defense has looked great. The Titans just dropped 27 on the Chargers and Tannehill looked good. I think most people think the Titans are really good football team. Sure this D will get tested by better QB's, but I have seen nothing to suggest the defense will not be good.

The offense IMO improved this week, playing against another pretty strong defense. To be honest I think this might be the floor for this offense. The question becomes what's the ceiling. Its going to come down to Oline play and Carr getting more comfortable running the offesne.

Seen nothing that makes me think we can't win the division, but I have also not really seen enough to make me think we can beat Dalls, Philly, or the 9'ers in a playoff game.

Both. Our defense will get tested later on in the schedule, but I also believe our offense went against two of the best defenses in the league. The titans just beat one of the best teams in the league and our defense dominated them. Carr is new to the system and we are too good offensively to continue to struggle.

We’ve proved we can win the ugly games against the ground and pound teams. I’m interested to see how we fair against the high powered offenses. It’s a five and take. Some teams play smash mouth football and play good defense and through 2 weeks, we’ve proved we do it better than them. The teams that play high octane offense don’t have the defense the teams we’ve played do. Our QB is totally new to our system and has taken us ti 2-0 against two of the best nfl defenses. Our offense will get better, and I think our defense will continue to excel.,

Not great, but the cause for optimism is to look back to the last to we started 2-0: 2013. We win a 23-17 nailbiter that came down to a goalline stand vs. ATL then an excruciating, mistake-filled 16-14 win in TB. Neither ATL or TB were playoff teams that year. But the team gelled, played better and finished with 11 wins and a playoff win.

While all outcomes are possible, I do think the likeliest ceiling for the season is something similar to 2013. A pretty good but not great record, maybe a playoff win in round 1 before getting dispatched by an obviously superior team in the 2nd round.

We just played 2 of the better defenses in the league. I'll take those ugly wins, this game felt like we dominated them and just kept stalling out. You just knew it was coming. Any win in the NFL is good. On to Green Bay!
